The first few weeks I played I couldn’t get over how amazing this game was and I didn’t know how to stop this game! MYKO was the game I really had an addiction to. I was hooked, I loved to play, and did so at every opportunity. Then I created another character, Acunnya, the human female rouge.

I still remember those nice noob parties back in Morodon killing those worms to get level. Those were the sweet memories to all Malaysian Knight Online players (MYKO), who started from level 1 until maximum level of 70.

I joined ‘I Stand Alone’ clan which lead by Cheapandez. He was good clan leader and if i can recall some of the clan members name are Zakroz, Popoy_Funk, Chez83…. we leveling together with illegal macro program, Ac Tool. The 3rd party tool program that players use to set up auto attacks and leave their computers up for the whole day or until server restarted, gettings tons of items like abyss gems or kekuri rings. Oh man, without this tool you have to manually kill the monster to get the experiance point. Most of players use this tools and many of them were banned because of it.

When I reach level 60, I left this clan and joined eX clan, the highest ranking clan and the most hated clan in Odin server. The clan leader was Gladiator02 or real name Allan, Malaysian chinese who lives in KL. He taught me how to pk (people killing) and combo. Eagleeyes, Betterman, Scarlet, Rayx, Mononoke (real name Natusmi, Japaneese girl), mPrVladracul (Germany), Chapp and |A|B|C| (Singapore), who else.. sorry I cant remember, hunting monster boses in Eslant, killing isoloon twice a day in the Hell of Abbys, castle siege war, lunar war and invading the orc homeland after a lunar war victory was sweet, running into towns and killing everyone. New patch came and Mykohack gone!

I left eX clan somewhere in June 2006. Intel Centrino created Diablo clan and I was assigned as assistant clan leader. Intel recruited many players and Diablo clan was in the top 10 clan before MYKO server wiped all duped items. This time many characters were naked and lost all duped item. Huhuhu..

Then as time went on, MYKO got worse and worse, to the point where it was just plain crap. Really crappy. The game was full with cheaters, scammers, hacker and dupers. MYKO was a lag fest and everyone had +3 uniques and +10 stuff. Everybody was using duped items.

On April 2007, all MYKO players WAS shocked with an announcement of MYKO closure.

Dear Knight Online Players,

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce that the contract of Knight Online Malaysia is coming to an end on the 30th of June 2007.

This may come as a shock to many of you but we are trying our utmost best in requesting for an extension of the contract but to our dismay, our request has been so far denied and we will no longer service MYKO any further then the given dates.

As you may know, the extension of the games contract is solely on the developer’s decision for continuation.

Below is the schedule for the Game Closure.

Power Up Store Removal: 30th April 2007 GMT+8 11.59pm.
All Server Permanent Shutdown: 30th of June 2007 GMT+8 11.59pm.

However do not fret as we will be releasing new Game Titles in the near future so please stay informed by visiting our main portal www.e-games.com.my for future updates and we will continue our events with storylines for our players till the game reaches its end of life.

It was really made us sad to hear that myko is going to close. Many of us have spent real money to buy premium and items from e-game. Some of my friend has spent more than RM3000.00 for this game, just imagine. Definitely, I was kinda disappointed seeing this announcement. Well there would be no reason for them to close it unless they are not making money off it. There was also a possibility that too many hackers led to too many legit players leaving, so all the hackers would dupe to make money and get all the items the legit players earned. They can’t handle this hackers.

On June 30, 2007, knight online malaysia was closed. No more MYKO and all friend that I made, will be hard to contact and maybe we could not meet again anymore.

My friends and i still talk about how wonderful this game was back then, and how much we wish we could bring it back. This is the best game I have ever played and I am yet to find a game to compare with it.
