1500 years old bible was discovered in Turkey

Turkish authorities have confirmed that an ancient bible thought to be 1,500 years old is being kept safe after being seized from a gang of smugglers. According to a report by National Turk, the gang was charged with smuggling antiquities, illegal excavations, and the possession of explosives.


Ancient Bible will be shown in Ankaran Ethnography Museum

The manuscript carries excerpts of the Bible written in gold lettering on leather and loosely strung together, with lines of Syriac script with Aramaic dialect. Turkish authorities express the bible is a cultural asset and should be protected for being worthy of a museum.


A secret Bible in which Jesus is believed to predict the coming of the Prophet Muhammad to Earth has sparked serious interest from the Vatican. Pope Benedict XVI is claimed to want to see the 1,500-year-old book, which many say is the Gospel of Barnabas, that has been hidden by the Turkish state for the last 12 years.

I believe if they had a change, they would have take it to the depths of Vatican and keep it secret `till the world`s end…
