Losing not one, not two, not three but FIVE States on his watch; how can he still face his party, his nation, the international audience?

The message is so very clear: not only do the people reject his government, they even reject him (drastically reducing his winning majority from 18,000 to 11,000).

The proper thing for him to do now is to step down. Learn a little lesson from the Tunku, swallow lots of pride, and step down.

Of course that would mean the Submarine Man becoming No 1 and the Keris Man becoming No 2.

Worse, that would also mean Curry Jam-Aladdin (who will probably get appointed as a minister, since so many ministers have been knocked out last night) getting one step closer to becoming PM.

But the thing is: if the present No 1 man steps down, then SIL will no longer be ‘SIL of PM’ but ‘SIL of ex-PM.’ Will he then be less arrogant?

    First and foremost..

BRAVO to Malaysians who actually have the courage to make a change, not a trickle..but a change of ‘tsunamic’ proportion!!!

Well..our Mr-’Work with me’, Mr’ I am hardworking’, Mr ‘I m fair to all races’ has said that he won’t resign because there is no pressure for him to do so.

    1) Did he mean that when there is pressure, he will resign?
    2) Is he not going to take responsibility of the worst ever defeat by the ruling BN since 1969?

Anyway, he is gleefully going to seek the King’s consent to form the next govt with the new greatly reduced mandate.

A leader with honour would do the gracious thing by stepping aside.

A dishonoured leader in Japan would commit harakiri

I don’t see Pak Lah doing either.

Cukup memalukan bagi seorang pemimpin jika diminta meletakkan jawatan secara terang-terangan macam ni…

if I?m in his shoes, i will not waiting for the public doing this.. It is much better for me to step down before anyone asked me to do it.

and for the comment about Harakiri, we are muslim, we are not allowed to do it…:)
