Hi Ayumi83, I am waiting for my offer letter to arrived since last week, when the HR told me that I hv been offered a job, and will start this Jan. My concern is, the offer letter is too late, and I havent tender my resignation yet.

The Offer letter, they send to u via Email or to By Mail to ur home? How soon u ned to report duly after u received the offer letter?Thanks

hai.. i got a call from PCSB saying my application is under process, haven’t been into an interview yet. Later the lady just wanted to confirm whether i’m still working or not. She also told me if wanted to know any info can call her. This thing keeps puzzling me until today (almost 2 weeks).. guess they just wanna confirm with me whether i’m working or not.. don’t wanna be perasan, or syok sendiri? ur comments?

thanks for the info. Usually, how many percent people can get into Petronas after receiving the email as me? and do they inform we are not shortlisted after 6 months even though they already email that we are shortlisted at the beginning?

Eddyra, it’s so funny reading this entry.. because back in 2007, I was the HR in PCSB who lead the Open Day team in Kuantan.. kekekek… so funny reading about your experience from a candidate’s prospective. anyway, i believe you’re already a petronas staff by now. =D

they will keep your name for 6 months and if there is any suitable position for you they will send you the offer letter. if you not receive anything within that period you can assume they will not offer you any position. that’s the normal practice.
