I recently (18/08/08) had a major hard drive situation. I accidentally moved the files to wrong hard drive partition, and erased 7 years of photos and datas. All priceless family photos, data, oil and gas doucments etc. All gone. I was sunk. I know there maybe proffesional IT would recover all my data with some money.
So sad my friends.. so sad. I was heartbroken.. la la la. I spent a very restless that night thinking about all the data I lost into thin air! Tried CHKDSK but not worked.
So I looked for software. There are a lot of ‘files recover’ software available. A Google search on files recover software returns a long list of software, err I looked for ‘cracked’ one lah.. I tried several different programs, and none of them retrieved all my data, and none of them can recover my file structure. I thought it would never be possible to recover me data.
Finally I found one program, EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard Pro v4.3.6, the cracked one.. thanks hackers!!
So I downloaded this software and it did reconize the hard drive. After doing a deep scan on the drive it identified the files it could recover. After about 5 hours of processing, this software recovered about 99% of the data. I promply copied the data off to a fresh drive. I figure recovering 99% of something is better than 100% of nothing.
So.. back up your datas.. even if you have 99% of your materials backed up there is always something you forgot to back up.

ps: buat backup memang cara paling baik. aku gunakan setting RAID untuk wat auto backup…

Bagus gak blajar benda2 nih. Komputer saya nih pon byk benda kena back-up. Kalo hilang nangis ooo…. tu psl kena beli hard disk yang besau tuh. 80GB. Senang simpan. Ala yg mcm pen drive tu.. apa menatang nye tuh ek! Tak tau apa namanya. Tau guna jerk
huh… kira nasib baik dapat buat sendiri…. aku dah kena… hard disc fail. Langsung takder nyawa… connect guna apa pun tak dapat detect external hdd tu… melayang 1700 untuk amik data dari lowyatt… nasib baik dapat balik…

aku cari software ni dah takde srang.. ko ada tak software ni.. aku cari byk dah delete.. external hdisk aku dah error.. still leh detect cuma takleh bukak.. prob ni.. byk file dlm tu…
